End of Windows 10

Windows 10 has served us well for the last 10 years but it now officially becomes 'end-of-life' in October 2025.
What does this mean?
Microsoft is withdrawing support for Windows 10 on 14th October 2025.
If you have Windows 10 installed, this does not mean it will no longer function after this date but it will no longer receive regular security updates.
This means your computer will become more vulnerable to exploits and attacks by hackers and viruses.
We would strongly recommend that your computer is running Windows 11 BEFORE October 2025.
As well as a few new features, and a re-designed user-interface, your system will be more secure if it is running the latest operating system.
How we can help

The hardware requirements for Windows 11 are more stringent than Windows 10, but we can check if your existing computer can support Windows 11.
If your computer does not meet the requirements for Windows 11 we can supply you with a new or refurbished system running Windows 11.
We will handle the migration for you and transfer your files from the old system to the new one.
It will be necessary to re-install any software that you use, but we can help with this, too. We will make the whole process as stress-free as possible.
If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to replace your computer we may be able to bypass the hardware requirements and upgrade your computer to Windows 11 or supply you with a budget laptop running Windows 11.
This option is not generally recommended as the system is likely to run more slowly on unsupported hardware, but it may buy you some time before you can afford to replace your computer at the moment.
